MLS All-Star Giant Ball Tour Rolls on in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA (June 26, 2012) - Leading up to tonight's AT&T MLS All-Star game at PPL Park in Chester, PA, Synergy managed a six-day promotional tour in Philadelphia to showcase the league, its players and sponsors.

The tour began last Friday with a kick-off event on the famous "Rocky" steps of the Philadelphia Musuem of Art, where Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and MLS Commissioner Don Garber launched the festivities by kicking off the MLS All-Star Giant Ball Tour.

From there, Synergy took the Giant Ball on multi-day tour of the City of Brotherly Love to obtain signatures on the ball from enthusiastic fans of all ages.  The tour was a resounding success, as thousands of fans signed the ball at a Philadelphia Phillies game, LOVE Park, the Tir Na Nog Irish Bar & Grille, Global Fusion Festival, Union Soccer School and at mulitple media appearances. The tour will end at the 2012 AT&T MLS All-Star Soccer Celebration outside of PPL Park before the game. The game will be shown live on ESPN2.

It has been a busy month for Synergy's sports sponsorship activation practice. Our team was on the road at the MLB All-Star game in Kansas City for an activation for Reebok, as well as managing the sneaker brand's Cross Fit Games initiative throughout the country.
