Super Bowl Activation Kicks off busy 2009 Season for Synergy Events

Ocean, NJ (March 12, 2009)- It's been a busy start to 2009 for Synergy Events.

During Super Bowl week in Tampa, Synergy Events teamed up with Catalyst to execute an interactive, media-driven event for Top Flite to help promote its D2 golf ball and its "NEVER LAY UP!" campaign. The long drive contest raised money for charity and featured LaMarr Woodley of the Pittsburgh Steelers (left), Reggie Wells of the Arizona Cardinals and Top Flite spokesman Kenny Mayne of ESPN.

In February, Synergy partnered with Devine + Powers, a Philadelphia-based PR firm, to help Advanced Sensor Technology launch UgMO, (short for Underground Monitor) at The Golf Industry Show in New Orleans. UgMO is a revolutionary, wireless soil sensing system designed to save golf course operators water, energy and money. The system, which utilizes a Bulldog as its logo, was unveiled in a custom 16' X 20' glass dog house at the show. Golf Hall of Famer Gary Player helped kick off the three-day event by introducing the product to attendees at the show.

Synergy just wrapped up the "Brother P-Touch Tour" aimed at business travelers. The tour visited commuter-friendly locations in New York, Philadelphia and Boston to tout the benefits of Brother's P-Touch 3420 and P-Touch 1230 compact, PC-compatible labelers. Synergy partnered with the New York office of MS&L for the Tour.

Coming up later this spring is a promotional tour for USA Football to help publicize the inaugural IFAF Junior World Championships. The tournament will feature the top eight 19-and-under national football teams from around the world. The tour will visit hometowns of select players on the USA national team to help promote the All-Star tournament, set to take place in Canton, OH from June 27-July 5.

New Hire: Leann Wilbur is the newest member of Synergy's growing team. As Account Coordinator, she will work on several programs, including the got milk? milk mustache mobile tour. A native of Toms River, she received a B.S. in Exercise Science from Rutgers University and currently resides in Hoboken, NJ.

Awards News! Synergy is a finalist for a REGGIE Award from the Promotion Marketing Association for the Way2Save Challenge Tour it executed in 2008 for Wachovia. The REGGIE Awards take place in Chicago. Special Events Magazine recently recognized Wachovia and Synergy as a finalist for the same tour during its Gala Awards in January. In addition, Synergy partnered with M Booth & Associates for an event with the iconic Fabio that won a 2008 PR News Platinum PR Award. The "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Mediterranean Blend Launch" was a three city mobile tour highlighted by an event at Times Square.
