As part of its long-standing Campaign for Nursing’s Future platform, Johnson & Johnson is a proud partner of the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA). At the annual NSNA Convention, held this year in Dallas, J&J provided an informative and engaging experience to help educate and support thousands of nursing students and leaders from across the country.
The experience, entitled “GO GLOBAL give forward,” featured multiple interactive areas that highlighted global health challenges and solutions. These included Helping Babies Breathe, a training curriculum through which J&J and partner Save the Children are helping to train labor & delivery medical professionals on newborn resuscitation skills, and Give a Spit About Cancer, a partnership between DoSomething.org (with support from J&J) and Be The Match to highlight the need for people to enter the bone marrow donation registry. Other elements included a virtual reality experience to showcase the important work of Operation Smile, a J&J Donate A Photo station and a studio where students received professional resume headshots at no cost.
To wrap up the convention, J&J also served as the title sponsor of the Johnson & Johnson Care Run, which benefitted the Foundation of the NSNA undergraduate scholarship program.
Synergy played a leading role in the development and production of all elements of the experience.
